Baby blanket question--QUESTION ADDED

Okay i am knitting this blasted baby blanket and i do believe i may actually get it done. Now here’s the question…what is a good size for a blanket? i don’t really recall where i got the pattern from since it was so easy to memorize and i had to doctor it anyway since my yarn was different. i believe that it is currently about 48" wide (hard to tell without stretching it at the same time) and right now about 24" long or so. about another foot or so? ummm…or can i quit now?

(no i am not planning on quitting quite yet but i would liiiiiiiike to! )

I’d give it another foot.

sigh Ingrid i thought you were my friend!

heh …hmmm…i wonder if it would look bad to switch to size 35 needles now? :rofling:

:rofling: :rofling: :rofling:

“It’s a DESIGN ELEMENT, I tell ya!”

Just give it a fancy name and no one would ever know!

okay the mommies and grandmommies in the office say it is big enough so i am finishing off the last five rows to be done. now the question is…

to fringe or not to fringe.

i feel like it will be okay to fringe it but there is that safety conscious part of me that says maybe it won’t be. soooooo…is it safe to fringe it and is there a particular fringe that is better rather than just the loop through thingy that i do for scarves?

I would not fringe a baby blanket. Mouths, little fingers getting caught, too much potential.

i must say…whew! as much as i was willing to do it, there was no way that wasn’t gonna be tedious! thank ya!!

See? I AM your friend!

:rofling:

you… Brendajos… the ADD knitter… you finished the baby blanket  *falls off chair needs photos to be sure…

:rofling: :cheering: YEAHHHHH Brendajos!!!

lol 'tis true…i do have something else i want to do to it before i call it completely finished though so you will just hafta wait for your picture!
