Regarding the neck opening…I am knitting a size 5/7.
I know I need to knit 15, bind off 21-
What is the last set of numbers?
Row 2 -do I cast on 21on the needle holding stitches on my working needle?
Also,same question regarding the last set of numbers.

I have this pullover in my favorites but don’t have the pattern yet.
Can you quote exactly the row that is giving the problem? Often, the last set of numbers given at the end of a row is the total number of sts remaining after the row is completed. Please don’t post a large portion of the pattern due to copyrights.

Neck opening: Row 1 (right side): knit (11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25 sts), bind off the next (19, 19, 21, 21, 23, 23, 25, 25 sts), knit (10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 sts). (22, 26, 30, 34, 38, 42, 46, 50 sts) - do I knit the last set ?
Row 2 (wrong side): k1, p1, k1, p1, k1, purl to neck opening, using a cable cast on {cast on 19, 19, 21, 21, 23, 23, 25, 25 sts}, purl to last 5 sts, k1, p1, k1, p1, k1. (41, 45, 51, 55, 61, 65, 71, 75 sts) Row 3 (right side): knit

Yes, knit the last 14sts.
For row 2, cable cast on to the needle with the sts you have just worked, the “k1, p1, k1, p1, k1, purl to neck opening…” Your working yarn is coming off the last purl stitch here and the cast on sts will be right next to that last purl.
The very last set of numbers is the total number of sts on the needle, 30 for row 1, 51 for row 2.
