Audio books

I just went to my library’s web site to renew a book and thought I’d search for Yarn Harlot. I found out that I could download the audio version of her book, At Knits End; Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much.
Now if only my order from Knitpicks would show up so I could start a new project. It was due to be delivered 1/12 and it still hasn’t showed up. I’m now frogging a second sweater from my cupboard. If the order doesn’t show up soon I may not need the yarn for years.:teehee:

thanks for sharing!

A very good friend gave me this CD for Christmas. It is WONDERFUL to have in the car. It is 3 CDs, costs about $20 I think and is worth every penny. I’ve been looking for more CDs or audiobooks about knitting, but no luck so far.

I was just looking at my emails and this is a link I got from a Knitting Daily email.

Thought I’d add in my 2 cents…

If y’all have iPods, the iTunes store has both “At Knit’s End” and “Stephanie Pearl-McPhee Casts Off” available for download. I listen to audiobooks on my iPod ALL the time, especially when I’m driving or knitting, so I was stoked to see them! AKE is like $13 and SPMPCO is about $16, so they’re not cheap, but oh well!
