At the same time

I’m knitting the Tia vest by Berroco, on left front instructions it says"at the same time" I do not understand. can anybody dumb it down for me? thanks

Most of the time, “at the same time” is stated in a pattern when there is shoulder shaping and neck shaping being done simultaneously. So on your pattern, for example, when you begin the shaping for the left front, you are going to start doing the instructions where it says “Shape V Neck”. They emphasize this because it’s really important to read through the instructions and keep in mind that there will be shoulder shaping and neck shaping going on [I]at the same time.[/I] Hope that makes sense!
