Both Amy and I grew up just outside of Boston. But since we’ve moved more west we’ve lost our native dialect, not that either of us ever had a true Boston accent. But you are right. It should have been wicked smaaaaht!

My thread for Amy and Sheldon has to do with the fact this forum is FREE and someone besides all of us knitters pay for it!
Don’t you worry. Amy & Sheldon certainly do deserve the lion’s share of the kudos. I didn’t feel like your post snuffed us mods at all.

Thanks so much for all you do, Mods and Management. Until I found your site, I used to have to try to find a nursing home and find a lady that knew how to knit to get answers (no slur against you guy knitters). It would work most times, but in some cases the WIP is still in a bag or box in the closet. Because of this site, I feel I know more about what I am doing and am more confident to try things that I would not have tried otherwise.
