Armholes do you do the decreases on the knit row and the purl row?

Hi, Merry Christmas! Could somebody please tell me; do I do the K1, slip 1, K1, pass slipped stitch over, work to last 3 sts on the purl row aswell as the knit row?

Cast off 4 only at the beginning of the first 2 rows of the armhole shaping.
Then repeat these two rows only:
Row 1: K1, slip 1, K1, pass slipped stitch over, work to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1.
Row 2: Purl

As written, the decreases are only on the knit rows. What pattern are you using, can you please link to it?

Row 1: K1, slip 1, K1, pass slipped stitch over, work to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1.

You have a decrease at each end of the row: [I]sl 1, k1, pass slipped stitch over[/I] at the beginning and [I]k2tog [/I]at the end.
