Armhole shaping

Hello, I’m struggling understand what is meant by the last three lines on this section of my pattern - beginning ‘continue in…’ (I’m a complete beginner) Any help would be much appreciated. TIA x

You’ve presumably knit the back of the sweater already. You can then use that to measure the length of the garter stitch section for the front. The pattern wants you to work in garter stitch (knit every row) until you are 5 rows short of the beginning of the back shoulder shaping (5 fewer rows than the back). This is measured at the armhole edge and probably means the first shoulder bind off…
Ending with a right side (RS) row means finishing the RS row so that the next row to knit is a wrong side (WS) row.
