Hello, I’m new here. hoping to get some answer for unanswered puzzle about armhole. A pattern calls to bind off 3sts for the beg of next 2 rows, and so on. If I do that left side and right side aren’t symmetrical. Why don’t we bind off beg and end of the row instead of binding off only the beg of the row?
Because if you BO at the end of the row, you’ll be left with a gap between your sweater and the last stitch with your yarn. Difficult to keep knitting with at that point. Don’t worry about it being off a row, that’s usually less than 1/6 inch and is not at all noticeable.
:roflhard::roflhard::roflhard:hahahaha… should’ve tried it before thinking and thinking… how ridiculous. Thank you!:roflhard:
