Arg! Am I reading this right?

Pattern deciphering-
This is from the rowan yarn pattern “Hush” sweater.
After a lace band it goes like this:

Beg with a K row and working all side seam decreases as set
by row 17, cont in st st, dec 1 st at each end of next and 3 foll
6th rows.
85 [89: 93: 99: 107: 113] sts.

Ok, so I do the dec from row 17, 3 more times every 6 rows, right?

And again

Next row (RS): K2, M1, K to last 2 sts, M1, K2.
Working all side seam increases as set by last row, inc 1 st at
each end of 12th and foll 12th row.
91 [95: 99: 105: 113: 119] sts.
Cont straight until back meas

Here do the inc (of 1 stitches at each end = 2 stitches) on the 12th and then 12 rows later, but I would have to do it an extra 12 rows later to get the 95.

If I’ve got it right, let me know
Thanks,
Leah

You dec 4 times total, and inc 3 times - you inc on ‘next row’ then the 12th row, and the 24th row.

Thanks, I was about to tear my hair out
