no your not an idiot!!
When I do a yo on a purl row…I would do the P2tog, move yarn back to the back of my knitting do a YO like I would if it had been on a knit row, then move yarn back to front to continue purling…![]()
What comes after the k2tog/yo and the p2tog/yo? You wrap the same way as for a YO on the knit row… most of the time.
essentially the rows alternate…first and last stitch are st st…then one row of k2tog, yo (keep repeating to end) and then the next row is y2tog, yo…
Okay so you have p2tog, yo, p2tog, yo, etc… So you p2tog, take the yarn over the top of the needle to the front again for the next p2tog. That’s all.
