I’m doing a cardigan left front and right front and on WS rows, calls for 3 sts to be slipped wyif, then on teh RS rows, you knit them, so it makes like that corded edge (is that an applied i-cord?) anyway, it really looks wonky on this piece, changes the whole shape of it, not a rectangle at all… is this normal or is there some trick I can do to make it more straight?

eta: I happened to see a suggestion in the Knitters Almanac about pulling the wool too tightly, will try that…
oh, that’s sort of different. So you’re actually knitting the icord as you knit the piece. I’ve never done it that way. Are you pulling the yarn sortof tightly when you come behiind the 3 slipped stitches to knit on the other side? That’s all I can think of right now…
