Anyone see this? could have been on Facebook

I think I once saw an ad on Facebook,that had something to do with knitting linings for soldiers helmets.My friend Quinny used to be in teh British army for many yrs and told me what it was like to wear those helmets and he said he used to put his gloves up in his for comfort and warmth.He seemed to think it was a good idea to knit linings for the troops.So I was wondering if anyone here has seen this.

There’s a thread on it in the “Charity Knitting” section. However, the group who collects these and sends them to the troops says the project is coming to an end and they can’t send any more after November 1.
