Hi, I’m very close to Somerville, NJ and wondered if there are others in my area. I’m a long-time knitter who would love to meet others who live close by. I belong to a church group but would like to join with a group who is interested in charitable knitting.
How close is close? I am in Phillipsburg, about 36 miles off I-78 right next to PA. I also belong to a knitting group but as far as the group goes, everyone pretty much knits their own stuff. I am currently knitting burial blankets for 2 hospitals nearby but I am doing that on my own. What kind of charitable knitting are you thinking of doing?
