Anyone have a pattern for adult pants?

I am a ballet dancer and I’d like to knit myself a pair of pants to go over my tights. Has anyone got a good pattern?

Knitpicks has a pair of really cute shorts Here that I plan to make someday, and I plan to make a long version of them by just extending the legs into pants because they’re so cute. Maybe I’m crazy in thinking it would work, and someone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I haven’t been able to figure out any reason it wouldn’t work.
