Anyone check out the new Stitch n Bitch Crochet Book?

I don’t know if I will get in trouble for posting about crocheting here. :thinking: I just loved the Stitch n Bitch knitting so much, I decided to buy the Stitch n Bitch Crochet ~ The Happy Hooker. It’s really nice. Alot of color pictures. I plan to learn it for afghans and knitted items where a nice crochet edge or trim would be pretty. :smiley:

I would love to get my hands on that book! It looks great.

I am just learning to crochet, though, so until I catch up on my knitting a bit and can practice crochet more, I hate to get the book, because I know I’ll want to do some projects out of it!

I heard about the Ms. Pacman change purses, that sounds like the CUTEST thing!

I bought it! It’s great! The patterns are very cute. And, just like the original S&B, the directions are VERY easy to understand.

I haven’t seen any pattern corrections anywhere, so far.

ANNNDDDDD, i meant to say, there’s lots of little side hints for knitters, like “if you knit this way, then when you do this in crochet it will feel smiliar…” or whatever.

I did notice a lot of the same wording in this one (specifically, the abbreviations for LYS and other online acronyms, and how to wind and center pull ball)… like almost EXACTLY the same wording. Which I thought was kind of cheating. But still a good book.

I really like it as well. I plan to try the Sweet Pea Shawl. I planned on using it for afghans and edgings, but some of the patterns are really cute!

My Mom really likes this book, she picked it up the other day when we went to get my denise needles (isn’t it amazing how you go in for one thing and come out with two bags of stuff from any yarn/craft/knitting/crochet store? It’s a conspiracy, I think. :p) But we were pretty sure we’d both like it, she loved the knitting S&B books, despite not knitting. Maybe I’ll learn to crochet from it, the knitting one helped me a lot. :thinking:

Vickyll, I ordered mine from Amazon.com with shipping it came out to $14.00. But I also seen it at Borders.
