Excuse me but this simply means the DSWMBO&A’s hamburger is still not done enough!!!
I am trying a program “Allways Sync” ( http://www.allwaysync.com/ ) to keep files on a thumb drive in-sync with my work PC. It has a setting that will allow it to run in the back ground and update files, in your sync jobs, as they change. I am in the test phase for the background updates but have used it for periodic synchronizations in the past.
In the past I liked how it worked but not that I was not able to encrypt work files. I now use TrueCrypt to create an encrypted virtual drive and run Allways Sync from there.
I just need to be a little more proactive; my secondary play Laptop (an old one of DSQMBO&A) died and I am in the process of rebuilding the hard drive. Maybe it will run faster with a new load?
