Trying to make this pattern and am a little confused about the dividing round instructions. DO i knit ten hang 20 and then TURN and go back over the ten and on to the rest of the stitches?
I think you just finish the row, which will include those 10 at the end, and then work back and forth.
“K10; place last 20 sts worked on hold on smaller needle (leave st marker in place); k60.”
This seems like you would knit 10 and then place the next 20 on a needle to pick up later. If i do that then the yarn would be on the wrong side of those 20 stitches. That’s why i thought i was supposed to turn it…I’m really confused. Am i maybe supposed to KNIT those 20 stitches onto the spare needle? And then the yarn would be in the right postion? HELP!
okay wait. I think i got it. So i’m at the stitch marker. I knit 10 stitches. Then i take those same 10 stitches and the 10 before that AND the stitch marker and i move them onto the spare needle? Is that what you mean? I think that makes sence!! Tell me if that’s right. THANK YOU!
K 10, then put those 10 sts and the previous 10 sts on a holder. Your yarn is still after the k10 and ready to go on to the next st.
