Another yarn over question

I’m having issues. I’m doing a pattern that calls for yarn overs on the purl side, which means I have to yarn over from the purl. How on earth do I do this? Is there a video? I know how to yo from the knit side.

You do a YO the same way you do a regular stitch except the R needle isn’t inserted into a stitch on the left needle. You just purled a stitch the yarn is in front, wrap it around the needle to the back, then to the front again between the needles and it’s ready to purl the next stitch.
