This is for my dad’s birthday next month. My husband is modeling.
The trick here is the yarn. The knitting is simple: knit stich all the time and slip the first stich of every row. 21 stiches.

Beautiful Job on the Scarf! What kind of yarn did you use? I love the colors!

Oh, that looks great! Garter stitch scarves are SO cozy!
Yes, Angelia, good old garter stitch!
The yarn is cheap and simple 100% acrylic suitable for needles 7 to 8 mm (I used 7mm). If I found it in my LYS you could too. Selection is pretty limited where I live.
The scarf looks great!! I love the colors.
Beautiful colors!! Great job!
L@@king good!
Is the model going to get a scarf too?
Looks soft and warm and the colors are great!
Really like the color you did a great job!!
Is there a scarf in that pic? I see a hottie.
Great job! Love the color!
That’s my dad. Talya didn’t come out so well in this picture but it’s a decent one of him.
I attach another picture of Talya to do her justice.
What a sweetheart… She is beautiful.

Hi Tamar,
I love the blues in the scarf, may your father wear it in good health…
Your daughter looks good enough to eat! I miss that age (my daughters are 16 and 10).
Thanks for the posting. I’ll respond more on the Latifah thread.

Awesome scarf! I love the blues that are used!
And what an ADORABLE daughter!!
Great job on the scarf. Your daughter is a cutie – what beautiful eyes!
I love the scarf but that baby is absolutely gorgeous!!!
Not fair!! Not only have you made a good looking scarf, you have a good looking husband, a gorgeous baby and a distinguished looking Dad. Your cup runneth over Girl! LOL. Seriously what a beautiful family and the scarf ain’t bad either!
Amber, I checked out your blog - thanks for posting with all the wonderful links and photos. Your son is incredibly cute. And I love the Booga bag - especially the colors you picked. Good luck with “easing” the sweater.
