Another newbie question

So i got the ribbing and am so happy :happydance: i am working on my first ever hat i am using double pointed needles working in the round and my question is i need to knit one row purl the next i know when you are working with circuler needles you just knit and you never purl is it the same way with the DPNL or do i knit one row purl the next.

sorry if this is confusing i am out of coffe this morning.

Yep, using dpns is just another method of circular knitting. Knitting ALL stitches produces stockinette stitch, no need to purl.

If you want stockinette stitch, then just knit all the way around. Dpns work the same as circular needles.

thank you so much

I have been working on a scarf and i just finished using the first ball of yarn. How do I continue with the next one?
