Another Magic Loop Question

First :muah: THANK YOU :muah: to all that helped with the needle change.

I have noticed that when doing the magic loop that the “purl” side of my project is what is showing. In other words it’s like I’m doing a reverse stockinette stitch. Should the “smooth - v” side be showing? What am I doing wrong now? :??

I am bound and determined to do this.Crossed Fingers

Unless your working rev st st then the smooth side should be showing…when you joined your yarn what needle tip/side was it coming from?

It was coming from the right side. I was told that to avoid having a hole where I joined, I should slip the first stitch on the left needle to the right and the first stitch on the right needle to the leftdidn’t make sense to me but .

Just flip your knitting inside out. You probably have the tips on the far side away from you which tends to put the WS on the outside of the tube. Hold the needle with the tips facing you like the pictures here - http://community.knitpicks.com/notes/Knitting_in_the_Round
