[FONT=Comic Sans MS][COLOR=Black]I’ve made many of these, but here’s the latest. I wanted something for summer. Thanks Sandi for the yarn inspiration. It’s Patons SWS in natural pink. I also added a cell phone pocket and a snap to keep it closed. Oh, the little bow is a purse charm from Cookie Lee Jewelry.
To make the pocket I just cast on about 25 stitches and knit every row to make a square. I felted it with the rest of the bag and whip-stitched it in with needle and thread.

I really like how you put the pocket in there, I’ve made two bags now and I think the next one I make will have th pocket put inside! Great job, I like the charm to added too!

It is wonderful - the colors are great!
I did make it a little bigger. I cast on 40, knit 40 rows for the bottom and knit about 70 rounds. Also, I would recommend going up in needle size with this yarn. It is a bit thicker.

It looks great! I really like the charm, gives it a bit of personality! I don’t quite have enough yarn left over to make a pocket for mine, but considering making a lining and sewing in a couple of pockets. It one of my projects I have gotten a lot of compliments on, and people are always amazed I actually made it! Bet you will get a lot too!
