That’s another beauty you’ve got there, claireweber. I don’t know that I could decide which to start first!
Oh, Charlotte. I’ve pulled both of these shawls up on the internet and look at one and then the other (I don’t know how to cascade them on this computer). I keep looking back and forth and I really cannot decide which one is prettier than the other. I have a couple of yarn choices, I may have to pull those out and really give it a ponder. In the meantime, I just knit the first row of the ruffle for my Lala Shawl - over 350 stitches of KFB :thud: next row will be purl all the way across, over 700 stitches :oo: a few more rows of stockinette and then KFB again, well over 1400 stitches :passedout:
DH and I have named it the ‘Sangre de Cristo Sunset Shawl’.
What a delightful name for the shawl! Though we may well have to send you emergency shipments of chocolate, or wine, or both. 
Just the thought of working that many kfb makes me want to hide beneath a rock. And over 1400 stitches?!?
