I call it Black Beauty. Still have buttons to go. (Obviously it is NOT for me!) I did this in Frog Tree 85% Pima Cotton and 15% Silk. I love how it feels. I just hope it fits my daughter!!

Jan, I yanked the needle out of this baby so many times! But for some reason it didn’t make me give up. I just loved knitting it so much. Black is harder to see the stitches - that’s for sure. And then I’d see a knit that should have been purl 15 rows back!! How did I miss it for that many rows? But anyway, it’s almost done. If it doesn’t fit Kelli, I’m framing it. The pretty lace at the bottom doesn’t show too much in the pic. There’s a huge KAL on Yahoo Groups that discusses every error you could possibly make. So it was helpful.
