Just finished these this evening. Though I ran out of the blue denim sock yarn from knitpicks, and I didn’t want to wait for another shipment, so I picked up another color, in this case, purple, and finished them off. Nothing too spectacular about the pattern, except that I did them off the top of my head.
I love theh colour and i love the that they are ankle socks.

Annyka, basically all I did for ankle socks was to make about 1 1/2 in cuff, 1 1/2 in st st then work and turn the heel, and continue on making the foot and shaping the toe. But I’ve seen some, that were just the cuff then right into the heel. I figured to just choose a length that looks good, in this case, I used one of my store bought ankle socks as a model, then split it in half for the cuff and body.

Great job on the socks! I love the ankle sock version. I also think the color change is groovy…it adds a bit of whimsy.

amazing what one comes up with when one has very few options, I mean I coulda ordered another ball from knitpicks, but then I’d have to wait for it. and Binkykat, things are going well over here.
