Amy/Mod Squad: Product reviews?

I’m not sure whether this is the appropriate place to bring this up, but I was wondering whether anyone has ever suggested starting a folder just for product reviews. It’d be neat if we could have a system where each product (e.g., Options needles) could have its own thread and people could add to existing threads or add new ones as needed. There could also be more general discussions like “favorite non-wool sock yarns,” etc. I know there are tons discussions about different yarns and needles here and there, but it might be nice if they were organized in one place. Would that be hard to do, or is there a reason why it might not be a good idea?

I think its a GREAT idea! It would make it all that much easier to use the search feature for the product in a specific forum…

We’ll get back to ya when the Mod Squad & Admin have mulled it over…

So needles, online vendors, specific yarns,… what else are we thinking needs to be reviewed? Books?

Oh yeah, books! And maybe a misc. category for storage, knick-knacks, what-nots and thing-a-ma-jigs. In other words, “everything else.”

And maybe suppliers would use us as testers and send us free stuff to play with… :eyebrow:
