Amy has a BABY BLOG up. Come visit!

Good luck with getting on the plane! Hey, if they don’t let you take the Addis, you could always mail them to me. :teehee:

I remember when the babies used to do that! My DD1 used to stretch out the other way sometimes and I ended up with bruised ribs! :zombie:

Ouch! :help:

I miss the wonderful feeling of a baby in my belly. I can’t have anymore now, so it makes me sad.

But, I’m SO happy for you getting to experience it, Amy!

Congrats Amy and Sheldon!!! I’m so happy for you!!!:cheering:

:muah:Congratulations to the both of you!:woohoo:
Babies are so much fun! But get in all your knitting now, you won’t have time to sit and knit for a few years!!!:knitting:
I wish I had known how to knit before my kiddos were born, all of my friends and family have nice handmade things from me, but my boys have nothing… ah well, that’s always the case for the shoemaker’s children, I suppose

Congratulations Amy & Sheldon. That’s great news! :woohoo:

I’ve seen this thread topic on the main page a few times, but it just now hit me, “Oh, that Amy!” :roflhard:
Congrats!!! :woot:
How many baby clothes have you knitted so far? :teehee:

I don’t often venture into this forum, but I had to come in and see what it was all about. Congratulations Amy and Sheldon, I’m so happy for you!

Hey Amiola, how was the sing-a-ling?

Thanks for all the love everyone!

Hildie, the singing was fantastic. Sheldon and I came back from the South with renewed excitement about singing, inspired to learn, refine, and improve. I sat beside singers down there that were just SO skilled, and “tight” with their timing and rhythm …it was just mind blowing. It made us both realize we’ve been lazy about refining our skills, and want to improve!

 Stop, you’re gonna give me nightmares!

I somehow think that my hands will find the time, but I admit I’m a bit worried about my brain having the capacity to keep the projects lined up. I already have a hard time with this. If I don’t have the next project ready to go, I can end up with huge time lags as I get the yarn and pattern together for the next project. I’ve been telling myself that I need to line up at least half a dozen projects for myself, with pattern and yarn picked out and ready to go, for after the baby is born, or I won’t get any knitting done for sure!

PS,
I know I’m overdue for posting a belly shot. I’ll try to post one soon!

Good plan!

You might not get to knit as often, but your time will be filled with happy baby stuff! cloud9

Your priorities change when you have a little one in the house, but eventually your knitting time will be available. You’re smart to have some projects ready to grab.

Getting the yarn and project ready beforehand is a great idea! I suggest making several of the projects mindless type knitting for those times when you’re brain is frazzled, but you need some knitting time. If the baby is a good sleeper you might have time for some other more complicated patterns, too.

I can’t wait to see that tummy!!

Me too, I wanna see baby bump

Quick projects are a good idea too. Besides, there is always time to knit even with a baby. That’s what grandparents are for :roflhard:

:waving:

:waving: Hi Karen!! Long time no see!

Sorry I’m late Amy… CONGRATS … babies are lots of fun… we have two… You guys will be great parents…
