Am I doing SSK or SSK through back loop?

I was knitting a toy cat and when it said to do SSK I slipped the 2 stitches of the decrease, put my needle through so that it is pointing out of the most recently slipped stitch and knitted them together.

I got a decrease leaning the opposite way of my K2tog.

Was I doing an SSK or SSK tbl(through back loop)?

In fact when you do an ssk decrease, you knit through the back loop.
