In working the body to create a selvedge we slip the first stitch and purl the last. I’m starting to shape the neck and have to bind off 6 stitches. Do I quit the selvesge work and bind off 6 or work the selvesge stitch and then bind off 6. The pattern doesn’t say,
Treat the selvedge stitch as one of the 6 bound off sts. If the pattern directs you may have a new selvedge stitch at the neck border. See what your pattern instructs.
