Just wanted you to see that I actually got it finished…
I love the wee thing. I think it will fit him until he is 3 at least!
The pattern called for varigated yarn all thru but I wanted to use a different colour for the ribbing and the sleeves. (partly because I didnt’ think I had enough yarn of the lighter colour) I think the sleeves look great… I also did them in plain knitting instead of the same pattern that is on the front and back of the sweater.

It’s wonderful! I rather prefer the contrasting sleeves, Tema! The entire sweater is very balanced and appealing! Great work, even though you had to tweak yarn-wise! You’d never know it wasn’t planned like this from the beginning! I love happy endings! You’re so talented!

I like to knit plain pieces and then tweak the colour a bit… not always successful but I think it worked very well here.
