After casting on one, k1 yo k1?

I have no idea how to complete this. I have to cast on one. 1st row is (k1 yo k1) all in same stitch. How is this done? :??

This is a double increase.
You will insert you needle into the stitch wrap the yarn around and pull the loop through as normal but don’t slide the stitch off your left needle. Then wrap the yarn around the tip of the right needle for your yarn over, then re-insert your right eedle into the stitch on the left needle and knit as normal.

you will have 3 stitches where before you had one.
