Afghan Border

Im starting a afghan of knit and purls. Purls being the face of a wolf. I need a border.

I was thinking of seed stitch…that would be nice and teenager boyish? would the knit and purls of the seed stitch give a nice finish to the knit and purls all willy nilly in the afghan…sort of bring it all together???

the yarn is Caron one pound. (it was on sale) would the seed stitch behave with this yarn…ive never knit with it. but i wanted this thing to come in under $30 and i got it accomplished with this yarn.

i would like for it to be knitted on because im gonna be concentrating on the pattern.

Any ideas?
thanks
Melissa

Yes you can do seed stitch for a border and that will keep the edges from curling up.
