I¨m planning on starting this sweater soon http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=81&d_id=1&lang=us

THere is a difference of 12 stitches between each size, and I was wondering if I could do a “S/M and a half” – the cast on for the S/M is 120 and the M/L is 132, so could I do 126? The rib pattern is “K2P4” repeat, so it should work, right?

It should work fine.
You may have to do a little fiddling with the increases but you understand the concept and any math will be minimal.
