I have bought several pairs of #2 Addis for circular knitting and I’ve noticed something. When I poke it through the hole size on my gauge measurement, the number 2’s don’t quite fit in the 2 slot, but are a little small for the 3’s. I feel it’s making my knitting a little larger and throwing off my gauge. It seems the number 2’s are really in between size 2 and 3. Are all Addi’s like this?

Just the 2s, I think.

Addis’ are European made needles, so they have European sizing, as to several other needle manufacturers. It’s a good rule of thumb to check the mm sizing when buying needles.
