Adding "image" to your mittens

I’m quite new to knitting and now I’m in need of little help.

I’m trying to knit a baby’s thumbless mitten with an “image” on the back of the palm…

The thing is I don’t know how to do the “image” since I’m knitting it round (with 3 DPNs) and I don’t have enough yarn to do it with stranding or intarsia method (those are currently the only methods I know how to do).

So can you help me with my little problem?
Please! puppy eyes

How about adding a picture after you’re done? You can’t do intarsia easily in the round, so this is a good alternative.

Oo! This is perfect!

Thank you so much for the tip!

I did duplicate stitch embroidery on a sweater a few years ago and it worked beautifully. It was a store bought sweater and I just embellished it.
Good Luck!:knitting:
