Hi everyone, I’ve just finished knitting a very nice cotton sweater and I’ve decided to do sc all around the neckline and I really want to add wooden beads around it as well. I’ve searched this site but can’t seem to find what I need. Can someone please help me? Thanks!
You could pre-string the beads onto your yarn and then as you crochet them just bring them up when you want them
Pre-stringing them would work. You can also add them while you’re working with a crochet hook. Here’s a link to a page with info.

Thank you so much for your reply. I will give it a try!
I actually just watched an episode of Knit & Crochet Today on beaded knitting and crochet. You have to string the beads onto the yarn before you start. When you want a bead, you slide it up, and there are some like stitches to do around it so that it sits flat and is how you want it. I would check out the Knit & Crochet Today website–I’m sure the instructions will be on there.
Thanks Ambjer! This site is very useful! I just love this here site! All of you are very resourceful and most helpful! Thanks to ALL!
