Hello knitters! I am knitting a shawl from a vintage pattern, and am thoroughly confused about the edge. It reads “Edge: With wrong side of work toward you attach yarn at lower edge and work loosely a row of sl sts across side, cut yarn. Finish other long side in same manner.” Is that a crochet stitch? I’ve done some googling and can’t seem to find a straight forward answers. Any thoughts and guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
Here is a link to the pattern: http://www.freevintageknitting.com/shawls/allegro-shawl-pattern.html
Yes, a crochet stitch. The crochet hook is mentioned in the materials. Here’s a video for it if you need to see one.
Thanks for the link, Antares!
Thanks!!
