This isn’t about interchangeables.
I need a smaller circ than comes with the Denise needles and today when I was in the LYS I saw both Addi Natura and Addi Turbo. As a rule I don’t care for metal needles as they seem to hurt my hands after awhile. Has anyone used the Naturas? They aren’t cheap and I don’t want to spend money only to find out they aren’t all that great. Any comments or help you can give is welcomed!
I have not used the naturas. But I do like my wood and bamboo needles.
They are not very fast with some yarns though. Wood and bamboo are a bit grabby on yarn. But wood was my needle of choice before I bought my addi turbos.

The turbos are made of hollow brass. Brass is very forgiving on the hands and the needles are quite light. These are nothing at all like the solid cast aluminum needles. No comparison!
The best thing I like about the turbos is how incredibly smooth they are. Silky. I have arthrits and tend to knit (and purl) too tightly. But I have no hand fatigue and my stitches glide right off.
Also if you get the circs (my favs) the cord is very flexible and soft. Not at all like the hardish nylon on other needles. The hip (where the shaft tapers to the cord) is very smooth. No weird humps or ridges to catch on.
I am a novice knitter - I had thought before I bought my turbos that the ultra smoothness would be problematic and too fast for my less than dexterous fingers. But I have found my knitting to improve now that I am not fighting the needle. Oh yeah - I love my turbos 
[color=blueviolet]Jan, I love my Turbo’s. They are feather light. Also if your planning on using them for ML a lot of people say that the joins aren’t smooth enough for ML. If your going to make socks the yarn catches between the join and the wood. To me Turbo’s don’t feel like metal needles. Calling them metal almost feels like a lie because they look like metal but they don’t feel like metal.[/color]
My mom bought a pair of the Naturas and loves them. I didn’t get a real chance to knit with them, but I liked the feel of them. If you like bamboos, you’ll probably like the Naturas. I think the joins are pretty smooth and it has the same cable as the Turbos if I’m not mistaken - 2 of my favorite features of the turbos.

I love my turbo’s…I just wish they would live up to the name and help me knit faster! :rofling:
they may not be like most metal needles but i LOVE that tinkley sound they make when they bump against each other… :rofling:
I just ordered my first Add-needles. Waiting so exited to try them! 
Jan…If you dont like metal needles, Im not sure that you will like the turbos. I dont. I find metal needles too slippy. If you are a loose knitter at all, go for the naturas.
Yeah, I know. I may have to try both to see which works. I do tend to be a loose knitter except when knitting the knit stitch in the round…then it’s tight. Good point though and thanks!

I’m still green when it comes to knitting, and I just bought my first pair of Addi Turbos a month or so ago and I 
them. Correct me if I am taking your statement out of context here, but does this by any chance mean that Addi Turbos come in straight AND circular? I thought they were just circular. As I was falling in love with them, I was wishing every pair of needles I owned were the same…except double pointed needles, which I’m using for the first time and seeing WHY it is important that they be wood/bamboo, but that’s another topic altogether.
