I’m knitting a shawl and I’m almost done. I tried placing a bead using the crochet hook method, but the hole of the bead was too small and caused the yarn to fray terribly. Now the stitch looks like it’s about to break apart at any moment. What can I do to secure it?
Maybe a little glue? I’m not up on sewing/fabric products, but I think I’ve heard of fabric glue that doesn’t get hard.
There is a product called Fray Check that might work.
Thanks, I’ll look into getting some of that. I was totally panicking-- the shawl looks just about ready to unravel and undo all my hard work.
