My stupid husband picked up a cold when he went to Ozzfest last weekend. Being the sweetie he is, he made sure to share is good fortune with me.
This is the nastiest cold I’ve had in years. I can’t breathe. My tummy is sore from coughing. Fevers come & go. I don’t even feel like knitting. :shock:
Yes, it’s that bad.
Anyway, that’s why I haven’t been around the past couple days. In case you were wondering. And I know you were.

Don’t ya love it when they bring stuff home to ya? My dh will bring it home from work but then when he feels better the kids and me get it :lol: fun times then :lol:

I hope you feel better soon…it must be bad if you don’t even feel like knitting!! I have a cold right now too, courtesy of one of the babies that I babysit for. (I have three). Now I know why he was so cranky last week- I feel cranky too!! I’m not as bad off as you, though- hope you’re better soon…

I had the worst flu ever last Feb. I know how that fever/ache thing is frustrating. I had a fever for 7 days, which was probably the longest fever ever in my life. get lots of sleep and fluids! hugs

I too just got over a bad cold last week. Luckily my husband was home on vacation and he got up early every morning and took my daughter to school

My son went to dr today - strep… first in our family to ever have strep throat… (he is the youngest at 16). Guess our luck had to run out sometime… yuck!

It’s like a blast of vitaminC. You can get it at a drugstore, healthfood stores and some grocery stores. It’s good stuff. Hope you feel better.

I still have a cough though… one of those nasty deep chest coughs. But, I’m functional again. And more importantly, I’m knitting again!!
