Achieving a jogless-jog with thick yarn

Hi,

I’m making a pair of slipper socks using Lion brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick and working in the round with two circular needles. There are stripes in a few places, and I’ve used different jogless jog (join) techniques but still get the jog. Is it just me, or is it because of the thickness of the yarn? Because of the thickness, is there one particular way that would work better than another?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Jan

Are you doing the slip st jog?

Yes… I’ve done that one.

I found this link to show you the other one I tried, and in reading it over, I discovered that I wasn’t moving the stitch marker over one!

Didn’t realize you were supposed to until just now! I’ll try it. Hope it works! I’ve not seen that knitorial before!

Ahhh good. That’s a new one for me.
