Amy has a video on Magic Loop knitting here on this site. It is under Advanced Techniques, Small Diameter Circular Knitting. It looks interesting. I am hoping to try it on socks sometime in the future.

I tried it for finishing off a hat…my stiches ended up getting SO tight that I couldnt get them back on the needle part of my size 15 circulars! Maybe this is why Amy said its better to use a LONG circular. I ended up drawing the yarn through & ending the hat about 2 rows before I should have…luckily, it didnt make a difference & I was happy with the result.

I was delighted to see the video - now I understand Magic Loop. What I don’t understand, and hope someone can help me, is how to do the sock once you get past the top. How do you do the heel flap and turn the heel? I know this has got to be really simple, but doggoned if I can figure it out.
