I am making a hat and have to k3tog. It is making me nuts! I am using addi turbos and the yarn is slick and I am really struggling to get the needle through 3 stitches without losing them off the needle etc. Is there a trick to k3tog that I am unaware of???
Wouldn’t that equal a sl1 k2tog psso the other way round?
(Which isn’t 100% a k3tog)
No, it would lean to the right, and would look close enough to k3tog. K 1, put it on the left needle then insert the right needle into the next 2 as if to k2tog but pass them over the single stitch. Leans right.
What I do, sometimes even on k2tog, is take the tip of the right needle and loosen up the sts a bit, then knit them together.
