I have a pattern from a Knit’N Style Oct 2007 and there are a couple of abbreviations I am not sure of.
If anyone can let me know what they mean:
sm, slm,
Other abbreviations in the pattern which I do know are pm which I know is place marker, ssk, amd s2kp.

The sm and slm on future roles are in the same place as the pm.

Found my answer, apparently on this pattern they used sm and slm for the same thing which was to slip the marker. Or maybe it was an error in typing the pattern.

Hi and welcome!
As you may have guessed, the sm and slm are likely both abbreviations for slip marker, the same marker that you placed for the pm.
There’s also a Glossary at the top of the page here that’s very helpful and includes videos.
