hi, my crochet pattern calls for me to “1tr, df” do you know what that means?
Also in knitting what is the difference between "wool forward (w.f.) " and "wool front ( w.ft.)
Regards,
Vera

Wool forward and wool front would be the same. Not sure what ‘df’ means.
“1 tr” means 1 triple crochet stitch, sometimes also called 1 treble crochet stitch.
I’ve looked in two lists of abbreviations, including the one in Donna Kooler’s Encyclopedia of Crochet, and neither shows “df.” I don’t remember ever seeing it. Is there any kind of context for it?

You know, it could be a typo of some kind… maybe ‘wf’?
