Abbreviation confusion

what does “k1inc1” mean?

Knit one, increase one. In other words, knit 1 stitch, and then increase by 1 stitch. But before you go ahead with it, can you give more of the pattern, what comes right before and right afterwards? In context, it may be a bit different.

Knit 1, increase 1. Depending on the pattern it could be K1, kfb (knit in front and back of next st) or K1, increase 1 by another method. Which pattern is it and doesn’t it have a notes section or explanation somewhere for how you do it?
