A Sea Of Sock Yarn

;o Wow! That’s a lot ;D
I just adore the turqouise you’ve got there, it’s amazing! (And the cat isn’t bad either  )

I am completely and utterly jealous! It’s breathtaking and beautiful. You are not a hoarder. I’d love to have that kind of sock yarn stash. Maybe in my next life.

Oh my, I thought I was the only one out there with a sock yarn addiction. I have taken to hiding mine all in one spot in my craft closet so DH doesn’t see how much I have actually bought & not put into socks yet. :teehee:

Now I know we all hoard yarn or if you want to call it have a stash. Some stashes are bigger than others. My yarn is spread around my room but I don’t hid it. It is a stash or hoard whether out in plain site or hidden in the attic. I sympathize with you but I want to be able to look at all the pretty colors, lol lol!!!
I love all the kitties and your dog was beautiful!!!

Oh, I am J-E-A-L-O-U-S!!! You have some lovely stash there! (And a very cute kittie!)

I just moved and have crap everywhere. I have plans to go through all of my stash. Will probably be donating alot of the acrylic yarn I bought when I first started to re-learn to knit. Since visiting LYS’s, I have the need for some better quality stash!! (nothing against acrylic yarn, some if it I will keep, but I know I won’t use it all and would rather it went to a more worthy cause - will probably send alot of it to HAP). PLUS, if I can DE-stash, I’m hoping to be able to more easily RE-stash :teehee:

Not quite hording yet. And if you don’t think you’ll use it, sign up for swaps here and give it away!

Wow!! I currently have 8 skeins of sock yarn, most of which I acquired at Sock Summit. For me that’s a lot because I sometimes go a long time without knitting socks. If I was in you shoes, uh socks, I don’t know what I would do!!

In answer to your question about stash vs. hording…well I don’t know, but here is a thought:

At Sock Summit a vendor had a display of large knitting needles with some knitting up on the wall. At the top of the display a sign said “There is a fine line between ‘hobby’ and ‘mental illness’.”–Dave Barry.
At the bottom of the display a sign said “I walk the line.” —Johnny Cash.
