Thanks to ArtLady for a new way to frog⌠Instead of ripping out an entire garment, rolling up new balls of yarn, and starting over, she recently recommended just knitting from the free end. That way the yarn is handled less, and you donât have to rewind it.
Great for me since I made my Ballet Cami too big. I donât have a ball winder or swift so it was an especially good tip for me, as yarn wound around my fingers into a âballâ tends to get tangled into an unuseable blob. So, today when I re-cast on, I just did it with the free end of the sweater! :cheering:
Also, I had previously done the ribbing in size 4 and the body in size 5. But I really should have used size 3 for the ribbing, I just didnât have any. So I ordered some new needles (and a couple of books, and some yarnâŚ) from Knitpicks! Maybe a do-over wonât be sooo bad after all!
