A couple lovely knitters are helping me out of a major bind and I want to thank them somewhow. I don’t have a lot of money, so I was thinking about making a set of washcloths or something, but is that lame? I don’t have anything delicious in my stash to send to them. Any ideas?
TIA!
A lovely thank you card would probably be just fine. Not many people even think to do that much and it would be appreciated I’m sure. Pass the favor on some day.
I agree- most people love receiving cards, it means a lot these days to send a card in the mail rather than an e-mail.
I think I understand what you want to do. I think washcloths would be lovely. They typically don’t require much yarn…about one skein of Peaches 'n Cream, which is very reasonably priced.
I’ve started making these to accompany the Oddball blankets I’ve been working on. I received one from a knitter and just love it! I have the stash yarn, so I figured why not do the same thing.
You are a sweetie. Crafters are some of the most helpful, generous people.
I agree, a thank you card is always wonderful. Even if you could include a $5 gift card to their favorite coffee shop, that might be nice too. I do that for coworkers sometimes when they do nice things for me.
I also agree that a nice thank you card would be lovely. I was raised writing thank you cards and buy the 20packs to keep in the house. If you would like to include a couple of dishcloths I think that would be nice too. Check out the KH patterns as there are some differnt ones you can make - I have made the mock cable one and people seem to love them.
