A FUN project: a cute elephant!

Here’s a stuffed elephant I made for my new niece/nephew on the way… It’s from the book Knitted Gifts. It was the most challenging thing I’ve knit so far, but also my most favorite! I kept coming to this website to figure out stiches I’ve never knit before! Also, using 2 circular needles at the same time took some getting used to… nevertheless, I had LOTS of fun making it

That’s really cute

That’s cute! My daughter says it looks like Babar.

Thanks, but who’s Babar? lol…

Who’s Babar? :passedout: :teehee:

Kids toy and storybook character.

Aside to Jan: I’m right there with your daughter-reminds me of Babar, too! Just needs a little crown :teehee:

Great job! This has been on my knit list for a LONG time!

I concur.

Great looking elephant, it’s adorable.

That’s adorable!! I love those stuffed animal patterns in LMKG.

I love your elephant. I made a blue one that I posted a while back from a different pattern. I love the ears on yours! Also I tried to patch in a picture of Babar for you to see but couldn’t do it. Go to Amazon.com and search for “Babar” and you will come to the books about this elephant.
And you’ll see him there and you can decide for yourself if your’s is a look-a-like. You did a great job.
